How to Test The Quality of Sports Interlocking Tiles?

First, the smell. Sports interlocking tiles are non-toxic and tasteless, if there is any peculiar smell exists,

it must be inferior.

Second, appearance. No crack, blister or glitches on the surface. Material (PP) filled with a uniform surface

without holes. Put interlocking tiles under the sun to see if there is any influence of the reflected glare.

Most of these tiles are located in outdoor sports, so the sun reflecting factors must be taken for consideration,

the high quality floating floor will not appear the phenomenon of reflected light.

Third, lever the tiles to see whether it will crack or deformation. Sports interlocking tiles have the characteristics

of pressure and impact resistance. If the crack or deformation is caused by a gently pull, then how they can meet

the strong demand of sports?

Fourth, weight. The main material of sports interlocking tiles are modified PP. But on the market at present, some

unscrupulous businessmen add talcum powder or calcium carbonate(CaCO₃). These materials can not be integrated

into the molecular chain of PP , which will affect the servie life and reduce the exercise performance. So, if you feel

the tile is very heavy, you can determine that something is added. There is a specific method to test the tile by density.

For real material, the density is 0.93 grams per square centimeter, so it will float in the water, while others will sink to

the bottom or floating with a slow speed.

Fifth, flatness. Assembly two pieces of tiles under the same model together, and then touch the tile surface seams. If

there is no clear sense, this product is qualified.
